In one of His deeply touching Satsangs, Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb lovingly explained:
Whenever someone speaks to us about another person, describes him, shares his life story, or narrates his way of living, and merely listening to it begins to bring a change within us, then we should reflect: what must that being be like in reality?
When we visit someone’s home, or even in our own home while casually talking, laughing, and moving about without much awareness, the moment we enter a drawing room and see the Murti of Shahanshah Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, an instant transformation occurs. We become still, we pause, we fall silent. Naturally, our hands fold in reverence, and our head bows in respect before His Murti.
If we observe deeply, we realize that just moments before, we were in a completely different mood—engaged in light-hearted talk—yet the very sight of the Murti of Sache Sai brings immediate stillness and peace within us. His grace and virtues begin to enter our being. Our restless and distracted state becomes aligned and steady.
If merely seeing His Murti can straighten our inner state, then what must He Himself be like? This is something we must truly contemplate.
If even glimpses of His actions and conduct inspire us, then we should pause and reflect—what must His true being be like?
We may elevate our own names, give ourselves titles and recognition, but the One whose very Name becomes such a divine mantra—that merely chanting it can lead a soul towards liberation and union with the Divine—how great must that Being be!
Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb said that when there is such power in His Name alone, we must understand what He Himself must be like.
To attain Him, our vision must turn towards Him. And for that, we should reflect on how much He must have disciplined Himself—how much He refined His being, how much Simran (remembrance) He practiced, and how much sacrifice He embraced.
Saijan explained that we often speak freely, saying whatever we wish, yet what transformation has it brought within us? We remain as we were—unchanged. There is no real power in our words. Whether we curse or bless someone, our words carry no such force that they can truly affect others.
But the sacred utterances (Mukh Vachan) of Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb would become truth instantly.
Even while engaged in a simple game, where dice would move according to His silent will, we cannot even begin to comprehend His spiritual power.
Such power comes from immense self-mastery and complete inner control.
Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb explained that this reflects the depth of penance (Tapasya) of Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, that every word spoken by Him would manifest as truth. This shows how deeply thoughtful and measured His words were, and how profound His self-discipline was.
We, ordinary humans, if someone comes and tells us that another person has criticized us—whether true or false—we lose our balance. We begin to think negatively, and may even feel anger or aggression, without even knowing whether what we heard is true.
But there was Shahanshah Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, whose own child was sacrificed, and yet not a trace of distress appeared on His face. Instead of giving a curse, He gave a blessing—that the Divine may fill that person’s home with happiness, and fulfill their desire for a child, granting them offspring and joy.
Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb said that we easily say that Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb possessed immense power, but we fail to reflect on how such power and self mastery came into Him.
Great souls do not remain physically with us forever. They belong to different times and dimensions, and even we cannot remain constantly in their presence due to our worldly responsibilities, family, work, and other duties.
Yet, such great beings leave behind their greatness in nature itself. Their essence continues to flow within creation.
Their grace, blessings, noble actions, Simran, Jaap, elevated consciousness, purity, and greatness continue to exist and operate within nature eternally.
It is this living greatness that brings transformation within us. Just as seeing the Murti of Shahanshah Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb creates an instant inner change within us.
Hearing His Name transforms our behavior. Listening to His stories inspires us to reflect and improve our own lives through good actions.
Whenever we remember Sai, His greatness and divine glory begin to transform us.
Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb lovingly explained that we should strive to become like Shahanshah Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, by imbibing His virtues and practicing them in our lives.
