Under the guidance of Bhai Veeruram from the nearby village of Jahanpur, Sant Satram Das Sahib learned the holy books. Shehenshah Satguru Sant Sai Satram Das Sahib had a vast knowledge of spiritual texts, including the Gita, Mahabharata, and Ramayana, which he knew by heart. In addition, he recited bhajans by revered saints such as Kabir, Farid, Namdeo, Tukaram, and Baba Gurunanak.

Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib was a compassionate soul who believed in serving the destitute and needy, for he regarded serving living beings as serving the Almighty. He often stated that serving God could be accomplished by assisting his children in need on this planet.
Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib’s compassion extended not only to humans but also to animals and birds. He believed that all living beings should be treated with equal care and respect. He even provided medical treatment to wounded birds and animals. One example of his teachings is when he saved a baby rabbit, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being of all creatures. Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib encouraged people to promote peace among each other and create a peaceful world for themselves and future generations.
