As per the belief, when an individual wholeheartedly surrenders himself to his Guru, the Guru takes on the responsibility of his life and provides him with ongoing support and protection under HIS divine shelter.
There was an ardent follower of Sai Satramdas Sahib named
“Sadarang Mal” who composed touching poems in honor of Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib. Many of his bhajans and poems were sung beautifully by Sant Kanwarram Sahib. Sadarang Mal was a renowned poet who held great love and deep reverence for Shahanshah Satguru. Once in his dream, he saw Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib and Sant Kanwaram Sahib coming to take him to his ultimate destination as his earthly life had come to an end. They told Sadarang Mal to prepare for his further journey. He humbly requested Shahanshah Sai Satramdas Baba and Sant Sai Kanwarram Sahib to allow him more time and chose a specific day on which he wished to be released from his mortal body. He also expressed his desire to pass away at his eldest daughter Naanki’s house rather than in Daharki, where his youngest daughter with her young children resided, to avoid upsetting her.
Several years later, Sadarang Mal visited his eldest daughter’s house and shared with his son-in-law about the dream he had of the great Sants and the date he had requested to leave his body. On the predetermined day, Bhai Sadarang Mal rested on the floor of the room in his daughter’s house, and the revered Saints arrived to bless him, and his soul peacefully departed from his earthly body for his onward journey.
Sacho Satram.
