Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib believed that serving the poor and needy was the ultimate form of devotion to the Almighty. His words were known to be powerful and always came true. During a visit to attend the wedding of Mr. Abiryaram’s sons in Jacomabad, Sant Satramdas Sahib mesmerized the audience with his beautiful bhajans for hours on end. Among the servants at Mr. Abiryaram’s house was a young boy named Bega who worked very hard and took care of Saijan’s needs with great devotion. While having his meal, Sai Satramdas Sahib instructed everyone present not to treat Bega like a servant because one day he would become a rich and a famous man. It is said that Saijan’s divine words came true, as Bega did indeed become a wealthy man after a few years.
