When Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib departed from this material world, his youngest son, Sai Meherdas Sahib, was just 3 to 4 years old. Despite his tender age, Sai Meherdas Sahib was a spiritually enlightened child, blessed with the profound wisdom inherited from his great and deeply revered father, Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib.

One afternoon, when Sant Kanwarram Sahib returned to Raharki Sahib, Sai Meherdas Sahib inquired why he had come back during such a hot time of the day. Sant Kanwarram Sahib explained that he had traveled to Sukkur with his brother Jadaram, whose leg had previously been examined by a civil surgeon. The doctor had informed them that cancer had spread in Jadaram’s leg and recommended immediate amputation to prevent the cancer from spreading to other parts of his body. Sant Kanwarram Sahib further mentioned that he would need to take Jadaram for surgery soon.

Hearing this, Sai Meherdas Sahib recalled the profound and truthful words of his beloved father, Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib. He shared with Sant Kanwarram Sahib that, according to his father’s wisdom, if the leftover portion of *Thandai* (an Indian cold drink made with almonds, fennel seeds, watermelon kernels, rose petals, pepper, vetiver seeds, cardamom, saffron, milk, and sugar) is tied to a severely infected part of the body, it can heal within a few days.

Sant Kanwarram Sahib, a devoted and ardent follower of Sai Satramdas Sahib, deeply respected Sai Meherdas Sahib. Trusting his words, he immediately followed his guidance and tied the leftover *Thadal* to Jadaram’s leg.

What followed was nothing short of miraculous. Within a few days, Jadaram’s leg was completely healed, showing no signs of cancer. Even the doctors were astonished by this remarkable recovery.

Such is the greatness of Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Sahib and the wisdom he imparted.

Sacho Satram.
