In one of the enlightening Satsangs, Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb emphasised that children naturally adapt to the lifestyle of their parents. They tend to become like them. If parents are caring, religious, spiritual, and lead an honest and virtuous life, their children follow the same path. However, if parents are indifferent to religion, uncaring, and irresponsible, their children, too, grow up to be unkind and irresponsible.

Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb shared a sacred account from the life of Sant Sai Kanwarram Saheb. He narrated that after Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Saheb left this world, Sant Kanwarram Saheb dedicated himself to serving at Raharki Saheb. However, he did not assume this role as a successor, but rather as a devoted servant. With deep reverence, he cared for Shahanshah Satguru’s beloved son, Sai Meherdas Saheb, who was only 2 or 3 years old at the time.

One afternoon, amidst scorching heat, Sant Sai Kanwarram Saheb arrived at Raharki Saheb. Seeing him, Sai Meherdas Saheb asked why he had traveled in such extreme weather. Sant Kanwarram Saheb explained that his brother, Jadaram, had developed a severe infection in his leg, which had turned cancerous and required immediate amputation. He further shared that he had brought his brother to Raharki Saheb to seek blessings and requested permission from Sai Meherdas Saheb to take Jadaram to the doctor without delay.

Upon hearing this, Sai Meherdas Saheb recalled the words of his father, Shahanshah Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, who used to say that when a wound turns into a chronic sore, applying the leftover pulp from the Thandai prepared for the Sangat helps heal it.

Sant Kanwarram Saheb, known for faithfully following the teachings of Shahanshah Satguru Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, immediately applied a bandage with Thandai pulp to his brother’s leg wound. Miraculously, within a few days, the wound that had turned cancerous healed completely, leaving no trace behind.

Jadaram was saved from amputation and made a full recovery.

Saijan said that Sai Meherdas Saheb, who was of such a young age, had neither received any spiritual initiation, nor had he performed any penance, nor made any charitable deeds. Yet, he possessed extraordinary miraculous powers. This is a testament to the fact that his beloved father, the wise and great Sant, Swami Sai Satramdas Saheb, had passed on this power to Sai Meherdas Ji in a direct and inherent manner.

Sacho Satram.
