In one of his profoundly inspiring Satsangs, Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb enlightened the audience about the extraordinary virtues and blessings of human birth.

He explained that we often approach Devis, Devtas, Saints, and Mahatmas with endless requests, while these divine entities never ask anything in return from us. Our desires seem limitless, prompting us to seek more and more. We also aspire to embody the qualities of Devis and Devtas and live a heavenly life. However, how can that be possible unless we strive to emulate their virtues and ways of being?

Human beings often pray and seek countless blessings for their comfort and happiness from Devis, Devtas, Saints, and Mahatmas. These revered entities graciously grant their wishes without expecting anything in return. Instead, they continue to shower unconditional love and kindness upon humanity. Blessed with profound mystical powers, these highly esteemed personalities uplift and transform lives through their divine grace.

For instance, Sant Sai Satramdas Saheb, a highly revered saint known for his sacred and powerful words, once blessed a servant named Bega, who worked at a wealthy man’s house while also serving Sai. Sant Sai affectionately referred to him as “Seth Bega,” meaning a successful businessman. Miraculously, within a few years, Bega transformed from a servant into a prosperous businessman. This incredible transformation was a testament to the piety and divine grace of Sant Sai Satramdas Saheb, whose life was an embodiment of purity and spiritual power.

Saijan shared that human beings are inherently self-sufficient. Parmatma has blessed them with a powerful mind, and when this divine gift is utilised wisely, channelling their energies in the right direction, they can lead a life of contentment, self-sufficiency, and self-reliance.

Humans are inherently born to give, not to take or seek. They are endowed with intelligence, strength, and self-sufficiency, empowering them to support and uplift other life forms. With these abilities, they can transform from ordinary individuals into noble beings by utilising their intellect positively and to its fullest potential.

Saijan emphasised that, as recipients of a profound intellect and the ability to internalise and apply wisdom, human beings are deserving of deep compassion and are called to engage in selfless service.

Such deserving human beings lose their blessings and mindfulness when they succumb to greed for unnecessary comforts and excesses. In doing so, they shift from being self-sufficient and noble givers to becoming needy seekers driven by insatiable desires.

God has bestowed the precious human form not for seeking or begging but for serving and helping others, as humans are created to be self-sufficient and self-reliant.

Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb encouraged his devotees to cultivate self-reliance for a period of 7 to 12 months, refraining from asking for anything from anyone—even a glass of water.

Saijan advised that we should refrain from seeking anything from others and strive to accomplish everything on our own, even if it requires extra effort. He questioned why those with fully functioning and healthy bodies should rely on favours from others.

Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb encouraged people to adopt the practice of not seeking favours from anyone for a period of 7 to 12 months, relying solely on their own efforts to meet their needs. He assured that through this approach, they would witness a transformation in their lives, never experiencing lack or insufficiency. Instead, they would be blessed with abundant wealth and excellent health.

Saijan shared that many people have the habit of becoming irritated and frustrated when they don’t get what they want. Their unfulfilled expectations only make them more dependent and insecure. Such behaviour hinders our progress. If we aspire to reach heaven, the first step is to let go of the habit of begging and instead become self-reliant.

We all aspire to attain the heights achieved by the Devis and Devtas. The greatness of the Devis and Devtas and their ability to bless the needy and underprivileged comes from the fact that they earned their stature through maintaining their dignity and making honest use of human intellect and wisdom. It was through these qualities that they attained eminence, superiority, nobility, and prestige.

We must evolve from ordinary human beings into noble ones in order to live a heavenly life. We need to eliminate the habit of seeking favours from others and instead rely on our own physical and mental abilities. Independence and self-reliance are essential. Being born as humans is a blessing, as we are gifted with great intellect, knowledge, and wisdom to be humble, generous, and uplift others. We should avoid becoming greedy or dependent, misusing our power, and losing our dignity.
