In one of the insightful satsangs, Hazir Swaroop Sai Sadhram Saheb asked, after working hard and receiving the reward—whether we call it fortune, fate, or something else—how much did we truly respect what we received? Did we honor our hard work, our fortune, God’s blessings, the blessings of the truthful Sai, and our fate? What did we truly respect?

True respect for what we receive through our hard work, the blessings of our Satguru, and our good fortune lies in how we use it. Whether it’s a good relationship, wealth, a valuable opportunity, a fulfilling job, good health, true friends, or a supportive society, if we fail to maintain its sanctity and do not honor the blessings we have received, it will be seen as a disrespect to our fortune, our Satguru, our time, and our fate.

The day we lose the blessings of our Satguru, our good fortune, and our favorable fate, we will regret it, as that day will mark one of the darkest moments of our life.

The ups and downs we experience in our good fortune, fate, and Satguru’s blessings occur because we take steps backward once we attain these blessings, fortune, and favorable fate.

When we misuse the blessings we receive, we disrespect our fortune and fail to value our fate, leading to retribution. We desire our children to be of high class, yet we fail to realize that by not respecting our good fortune, favorable fate, and Satguru’s blessings, we bring diseases, problems, and hardships into their lives. As a result, our children may become weak, depressed, or even born with low vision, physical disabilities, or hearing impairments.

If we make good use of what we receive through hard work, honesty, good fortune, and good fate, along with the blessings of our Parmatma and Satguru, we will continue to progress and prosper. However, when we disrespect the blessings we have, we face ups and downs in our life.

We develop fear within ourselves because we know we have taken steps backward and failed to uphold the sanctity of our good fortune and Satguru’s blessings, which leads to the instability of our mind. Ultimately, this fear extends to our future.

Therefore, it is essential for all of us to be grateful for everything we have received through our hard work, our Satguru’s blessings, and our good fortune, and to make the best use of these divine favors.
