Once, the Panchayat (village council) of Mian Jo Goth approached Shahanshah Satguru Sant Sai Satramdas Saheb with a grave concern. They informed him about a troublesome Tantrik (occultist) residing in their village who was causing havoc. This Tantrik had been using his dark arts to disrupt all the feasts, festivals, rituals, and celebrations cherished by the villagers.
The Tantrik’s malevolent practices extended to ruining wedding ceremonies, Janyo celebrations, and any other festivities celebrated by the diverse castes and religions in Mian Jo Goth. His sinister acts even tainted milk, infested cooked food in the vessels with worms, and damaged musical instruments whenever joyous occasions called for them. The villagers had attempted numerous times to rid themselves of this evil-minded Tantrik, seeking the help of various other Tantriks and Saints. However, all such attempts ended in failure, with those they sought to aid succumbing to strange behaviors, pulling their own hair, and behaving erratically due to the Tantrik’s powerful sorcery.
Desperate and frightened, the villagers turned to Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Saheb for a solution. Saijan, suggested they organize a bhakti (devotional) program in their village near the tantarik’s house. Despite the Tantrik’s known intent to disrupt any such event, Saijan assured the villagers that everything would be taken care of with the divine blessings of Parmatma (the Supreme Being).
The villagers, initially hesitant due to fear of the Tantrik, followed Saijan’s guidance and held the bhakti program near the Tantrik’s residence. When the program began, the Tantrik fiercely attempted to work his dark magic, but to his astonishment, all his efforts proved futile. As the program continued, the villagers welcomed Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Saheb with great enthusiasm, showering him with flower garlands and pomp.
Despite the Tantrik’s relentless attempts, his tantric spells had no effect on the event. He resided in a sealed room, never opening its door, and only accepted food from his young and unmarried daughter. Yet, as Saijan commenced his enchanting bhakti with the first alap, one wall of the Tantrik’s room collapsed. With the second alap, the remaining walls crumbled, leaving the terrified Tantrik exposed before Shahanshah Satguru Sai Satramdas Baba. The moment the Tantrik’s eyes met Saijan’s, the overwhelmed Tantrik approached Saijan and fell at his Lotus feet. Saijan tried to lift him, but the Tantrik humbly requested to remain at his sacred feet, expressing remorse for his past wicked deeds. Saijan, encouraged the Tantrik to leave his malicious past behind and use his abilities for the betterment of others. The Tantrik realized the error of his ways and resolved to lead a virtuous and righteous life.
From that day forward, the once-troublesome Tantrik turned his energies toward meditation, chanting the divine name of Parmatma, and performing acts of kindness. His previous misdeeds were nullified, and he amassed Punya (spiritual merit) through his virtuous actions. As he neared the end of his earthly journey, the Tantrik declared that he was taking shelter under his Satguru’s divine guidance, knowing that his sins were absolved, and he would smoothly transition to the afterlife.
