Once, when the illustrious Sant Sai Satramdas was on his way back from Thal after bidding farewell to Samanaram, two Brahmins from Badeen approached him, requesting Rs. 500 for their daughter’s wedding. They informed Sant Satramdas Sahib that they had traveled on foot to Raharki Sahib and, upon learning of his presence in Thal, had come to seek his help

Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib assured the Brahmins that he would provide the requested amount after his evening prayers, using the offerings collected for the needy. However, the Brahmins expressed their concerns that accepting money from offerings might harm their social standing and jeopardize their daughter’s upcoming marriage. Sant Sai Satramdas Sahib, upon hearing their concerns, still provided them with the money and advised them to always remain grateful to God. He urged them to uphold their true respect, rather than putting up a false front to impress others. He encouraged them to maintain their dignity through honesty and to be thankful to the Lord for blessing them with health, happiness, and protection.
